Studio accomplishments in Texas until 2019 include:
- The First Place recipient of the TMTA Whitlock Memorial Scholarship Award in 2009 – TMTA’s highest student honor.
- The First Place recipient of the TMTA Student Affiliate Participation Award in 2009, 2010, and 2019 – TMTA’s highest student award for participation in various TMTA activities.
- First place in the first TMTA Chamber Music Contest at the 2007 TMTA Convention, First Place again in 2008, and Third Place in 2009
- A Mansfield Gold Medal Theory Award recipient in 2009 for theory gold medals 2nd-12th grades.
- A World of Music McGaughy Award recipient in 2009 for gold medals 2nd-12th grades.
- A 10-year TMTA SA Ensemble Award recipient in 2009. A 9-year recipient in 2012. Other students have received Plano MTA’s 6-year awards.
- A Paderewski Medal Winner in Guild Auditions.
- TMTA Composition Winners and MTNA Composition Honorable Mentions.
- Composition Winners in the PTA Reflections, Music in Motion, and Piano Explorer Composition Contests.
- Our studio has a tradition of students winning and receiving Outstanding ratings in the TMTA Publications Contest each year.
- A high percentage of students earn Gold Theory Medals for receiving 98-101% on the TMTA Theory Tests.
- Most students earn Gold World of Music Medals for receiving 90-100% on the TMTA World of Music Test.
- A high percentage of students earn Superior Ratings in our Studio Music Festivals.
- Students receiving TMTA Projects ribbons at the annual TMTA Conventions. Our students were the first presenters of TMTA Student Projects.
- Numerous gold and silver medal TMTA All-Star Festival recipients at TMTA Conventions.
- Students presenting their projects and helping with Kidz Kamp at the TMTA 2012 Convention.
